1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LikhAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What LikhAI Does

LikhAI is a web-based tool that converts your typed text into a handwriting-style PDF using decorative sheet templates. The tool is provided for personal, educational, and creative use only.

3. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. LikhAI does not store your card details, UPI IDs, or any payment credentials. You pay a flat fee of ₹29 per PDF download.

4. Delivery

Upon successful payment, your PDF is generated instantly and made available for download within seconds. There are no physical deliverables.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited uses include:

• Submitting LikhAI output as original academic work in violation of your institution's academic integrity policies
• Using the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service

6. Intellectual Property

The sheet templates, fonts, and design elements provided by LikhAI are for personal use only. You retain ownership of the text content you input. LikhAI retains all rights to its platform, design assets, and technology.

7. Limitation of Liability

LikhAI is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific transaction in question.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Sheet Design Courtesy

The decorative A4 sheet templates used in LikhAI are provided courtesy of Peace Stationery™. All sheet designs remain the intellectual property of Peace Stationery. LikhAI uses these designs with permission for personal, educational use only.

Your Privacy Matters

LikhAI is designed with privacy first. We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the Service and we never sell your data to third parties.

1. Data We Collect

• Text you input: Your text is processed entirely in your browser to generate the preview and PDF. It is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
• Payment data: Handled entirely by Razorpay. We receive only a transaction confirmation — never your card or UPI details.
• Basic analytics: We may collect anonymised page-view data (no personally identifiable information) to understand usage patterns.

2. No Account Required

LikhAI requires no sign-up or login. We do not create user profiles, store your email, or link your activity to an identity.

3. Payment Security

All transactions are processed by Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified — the highest standard in payment security. Your financial information never passes through LikhAI's servers. Connections to our site are encrypted via HTTPS/SSL.

4. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to operate the site (e.g., session state). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Third-Party Services

• Razorpay — Payment processing. See their privacy policy at razorpay.com.
• Google Fonts — Font files are loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log font requests per their standard policy.

6. Data Retention

Since we do not store your text or personal information, there is nothing to delete. Transaction receipts may be retained for up to 90 days for accounting and dispute resolution purposes.

7. Children's Privacy

LikhAI is safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under 13.

Our Commitment

We want you to be completely satisfied with LikhAI. Because our product is a digitally delivered file (PDF), our refund policy is as follows:

Eligible Refunds

• Payment was charged but the PDF was not delivered or downloadable
• A technical error on our part resulted in a blank or corrupt PDF
• Duplicate payment was made for the same order

Non-Eligible Refunds

• You changed your mind after downloading the PDF
• The handwriting style did not match your expectation (a live preview is shown before payment)
• The PDF was successfully delivered and downloaded

How to Request a Refund

Email support@likhai.in with your Razorpay transaction ID within 48 hours of purchase. We will review and respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
